The highlight of my most recent trip was definitely Hakodate. I mean, seeing as I'd never been there before, it was a wonderful experience. a.k.a. my half-birthday. I made my own strange tradition and my parents share it with me. My grandmother buys the See's candy in the first place (so it comes in a holiday wrapping) and then I put it away into the freezer for about seven months until it comes time to break it open on Aug. 18th.
